We were the silent lovers…

Everyone tells me that i shouldn’t think of you: “she’s not worth your time.” but i try to care, yes i try to care; but you just couldn’t give a damm. you’ve found it easy to hide in your stance. you hide in your mood and don’t let me in. but i always leave myself open to you; i’ll take your knives, i’ll take your pain. i’ll take anything that you give to me; but you won’t give to me, you will never expose. and you hide your pain, knowing the answers are all the same. and i see you standing and i know how it hurts; i want to reveal, but you’ll never get close. everyone tells me that i shouldn’t think of you; they say you’re wasted time. hunting and hoping and asking your friends, finds you alone cause they don’t think of you. they say you’ve a problem, that i shouldn’t care, but that can’t cure my mind. i was in love with you, now i don’t know; i never control what i don’t understand. you bring up the others, i tell you it’s you, but you’ll never let it down. i think about you and try not to care; but the image it lingers, the feeling’s still here. so i try to care, but you work hard to block and hide. everyone wonders why i think of you; they say you waste my time.
